Candle Care & FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

Should I buy different scents for different room in my home?

Absolutely! Purchasing different fragrances to complement your various living spaces will give each room its own unique ambiance.

Why should I trim the wick?

A longer wick creates a larger flame, which in turn melts the wax faster. If you don't trim the wick before burning the candle, it may start producing soot. Always trim the wick to 1/8 inch before lighting a new or previously burned candle. In addition, burning your candle for 4 hours at a time will ensure the wax melts all the way to the edges without tunneling. If you want to burn your candle longer than 4 hours, extinguish the flame after 4 hours, let the candle cool, then trim the wick and relight.

Candle Care

1. Trim wicks regularly- trim to 1/8 inch before lighting to prevent smoke and soot. 2. Limit drafts- candles should not be burned near drafty windows, fans, or vents. Drafts will cause flame to flicker. 3. Burn candle 3-4 hours for even burn. Avoid burning longer than 4 hours at a time to prevent over heating. 4. Use candle snuffer to extinguish flame- careless blowing may splash wax, distribute soot that can lower burn time. 5. Keep away from children and pets.
